Job Description

• The Quality Weld Shop Engineer is responsible for ensuring that welding processes and outputs meet the required quality standards in the manufacturing of automotive components. This role involves monitoring, inspecting, and improving welding processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor welding processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for welding activities.

In order the skills & requirements are:

• Customer handling and customer support (SMG &MG motors)
• Knowledge of process (Stamping – progressive stamping preferred, Robotic MIG Welding)
• Good communication skills spoken and written in email
• Knowledge about core tools (SPC,MSA,APQP,PPAP, PFMEA)
• Good problem analysis approach (Case studies based assessment)
• Intelligence level
• Management skills
• QMS – IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Experience – min 8 Years in quality in automobile industry (Sheet metal experience preferred of 4-Wheelers
• 10.Education – B-Tech (Full time,Diploma+B-Tech) in mechanical/Automobile Engineering minimum. MTech added an advantage.

Experience Required: 02-08 years
